Full Frame Off Restorations can be a journey and PRD Machineworx wants to help you with that. Anything from classic cars that have stayed in the family for generations to vintage race cars to be preserved for collectors, PRD has you covered.
Another service we offer similar to frame restorations is building a competitive race car. From routing the wiring harness properly on the chassis to solid powertrain & drivetrain combinations PRD will work to provide you a competitive build for whatever series you are trying to compete in.
One of the future services is 3D scanning, archiving, printing test fit & design parts, custom CNC modular manufacturing. This process will help reproduce no longer manufactured OE parts for restorations. The process also provides a way to scan whole race chassis and parts for repairs from light or heavy impacts on track or for future development.
With the development of 3D scanning and printing we want to take it further by being able to manufacture onsite parts for race builds or restorations. This will bring archiving 3D scans into play by keeping each scan and sliced file archived with each project for future replacement or development.
As PRD stands for Phillips Racing Development, we aim to have at least one to two competitive motorsport teams to push our development of engines, hybrid combinations, etc. As the world of motorsports expands but also transitions to our everyday vehicles.
A future goal is not to just work on mechanical parts for restoration but also interior parts. We hope to be able to deliver custom reupholstery for custom jobs whether for reproduction, for restoration, or for race car layouts to meet and exceed safety requirements for each competition.
